Order of the Raven

 

Connie

    A gifted student of physics and astronomy, Connie dreams of being an astronaut. Tenacious and determined, but doubtful of her abilities, she is pulled into the Gisborough Time Storm, where she discovers she is a well of memory, tasked with protecting the legacy of history.

 

Gertrude Bell

   Already a person of note in history when Connie meets her, Gertrude Bell is a renowned cartographer, mountaineer, explorer and archaeologist. She is resilient and committed, facing down all obstacles with a steely resolve and unafraid in the face of danger.

 

The Boy

  The famous explorer has yet to find his path when Connie meets him. The world is full of possibility for a clever and industrious boy, but will he get to forge the path that history claims is his, or will his legacy be lost in time?

 

Imara

  Connie’s enigmatic and brilliant physicist mother, Imara is a lodestone and mentor for Connie. She has raised Connie alone and is eminently successful in her field, choosing a low key lab to ensure she has time with her daughter, but always

pushing Connie to be better and never to give in to her darker doubts.

 

Marcus

  A Member of the Order of the Raven, tasked with studying and safeguarding time. When Connie meets him,

he has gone rogue and is rewriting history for his own ends.

 

John Bartitsu

   John Bartitsu is a skilled man at arms and showman. He meets Connie at the Steampunk Festival,

impressed by her attitude, style and skill, though he’s quite cutting about her shortcomings. When the two

come together in the Time Storm, Connie is relieved to find someone who seems to know what is happening,

despite his propensity to call her ‘Explorer Girl.’
